I-73/74/75 Route: Ohio

The Ohio segment of the I-73/74/75 Corridor is an important link between the Midwest and the Southeast, connecting communities from Toledo to Portsmouth and beyond. Once constructed, the corridor will strengthen Ohio’s transportation network by improving access to rail lines, interstate highways, and national freight routes while supporting long-term economic growth and safer travel.

The corridor would directly serve Delaware, Franklin, Hancock, Lawrence, Lucas, Marion, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Wood, and Wyandot counties, benefiting both rural communities and major metropolitan areas such as Columbus and Toledo.

Route Status

I-75 upgrades in the Toledo region would spur economic development. Once I-73 is completed in other neighboring states, this interstate will improve transportation connectivity with rail lines and other interstate highways. I-75 may offer more short-term benefits for Ohioans today, but eventually I-73 will be beneficial to the entire state.
