I-73/74/75 Route: North Carolina

The I-73/I-74 Corridor in North Carolina will expand interstate access to underserved regions of the state while easing congestion in existing high-traffic areas. The route will strengthen north–south connectivity through the Piedmont and Sandhills, linking rural communities to major population centers and regional markets.

The corridor would directly serve Brunswick, Columbus, Forsyth, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson, Rockingham, Scotland, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin counties, improving access for both growing urban centers and smaller rural communities.

Route Status

I-73/I-74 will provide interstate access to underserved areas, as well as relieving congestion in high-traffic areas.
